RCRD ("The memory layer for X") is a browser extension that lets you keep private records, labels, and screenshots on users and posts across X/Twitter. Your data never leaves your browser.
RCRD does not collect, transmit, or store any data on external servers. Specifically:
All data you create (records, labels, screenshots, and settings) is stored locally in your browser using the Chrome Storage API (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync).
This data remains entirely on your device and is only accessible to you. It is never transmitted to any server, including ours.
RCRD requests the following browser permissions:
RCRD offers optional automatic and manual backup features. Backups are saved as JSON files to your local Downloads folder. No backup data is ever uploaded to any server.
No third party has access to your data. RCRD does not integrate with any external APIs, advertising networks, or analytics services.
If this policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Since RCRD does not collect any data, changes are unlikely.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, you can reach out via @emilios_eth on X or open an issue on the GitHub repository.
